The Podium4Sport Seeley Cup returns for 2024.

The race began in 1982 to commemorate an outstanding local athlete and Willowfield member Joe Seeley who sadly passed away at a young age. This year marks the 42nd year of the race and we are once again proudly sponsored by Podium4Sport and supported by Athletics NI.

The race will take place on Saturday 30th November 2024 in Ormeau Park.

Race Details:

• Date: Saturday 30th November

• Time: 2.30pm

• Venue: Ormeau Park, Belfast

Entry Fees:

• £22 for affiliated members

• £24 for non-affiliated

All Race participants will receive a T-shirt with their entry.

Pack Collection:

• Pre Race - Pack collection will take place at the Mary Peters Track in the Athletics house. Packs will be available to collect on Thursday 28th November 1pm-8pm in the Les Jones Room.

• Race Day - There will be pack collections from 12 - 2pm at the Ozone but to minimise large queues please try to pick up your pack on the Thursday.

• All club entries will be grouped together - If you are a member of a club, one member must be designated to collect and will be given all their club’s race numbers. This individual must sign in to state they have their clubs’ numbers. This person will then be responsible for getting the numbers to their club mates.

• We strongly advice that all local Greater Belfast Area Clubs avail of the pre-race day pack collection to help avoid large queues on race day.
