Willowfield men take Bronze medals in NI & Ulster 5K Road race Championship 2017

The Queens 5K incorportating the road race championship was a succesful event for Willowfield. There was a good club entry with 16 senior men and women and 8 junior athletes racing. See Results page for summary

Welcome to Willowfield Temperance Harriers website. We are a long established club in the east Belfast area and are open to runners, young and old, of all abilities. Whether its the enjoyment of keeping physically fit or the buzz of competition, Willowfield has something for you. The club is based nowadays at the Civil Service sports grounds Stormont.

Please note our junior membership is open to boys and girls who must be at least Primary School P6 - aged 9 and upwards.


Junior Membership Notice - The club will review in August the junior membership roster for the approaching 2018-19 membership year. There is at present a waiting list. Any places that become available will be offered to young persons in the order they appear on the list. At this time  we cannot be sure how many places may become available.

Willowfield Harriers operate from the pavilion

at the NI Civil Service sports grounds at stormont.


The club have adult mens and ladies groups

covering a range of age and ability.

There are also a youth section, 16 years old and over

and a junior section covering age 9 to 15 years of age.

Junior Membership Notice


The club junior section is presently full. Please do not just turn up at a training which puts our coaches in a difficult position and may leave you very disappointed.

Any other young person interested in running and joining Willowfield please first drop us an email to check on availability of places.

Club Kit Notice


The club still has a number of the new kit items available over a limited range of sizes. Speak with coach Rebecca or Rod if you are interested.



However members can

Racing vests remain the same and if you require one speak with your coach or to Lawson.
