Welcome to Willowfield Temperance Harriers website. We are a long established club in the east Belfast area and are open to runners, young and old, of all abilities. Whether its the enjoyment of keeping physically fit or the buzz of competition, Willowfield has something for you. Willowfield is based nowadays at the Civil Service sports grounds Stormont.
The club have adult mens and ladies groups covering a range of age and ability.
There are also a youth section, 16 years old and over and a junior section covering age 9 to 15 years of age.

Please note at present junior membership is open to boys and girls who must be at least Primary School P6 - aged 9 and upwards.
Junior Membership Notice - The club reviews in August the junior membership roster for the approaching membership year. When there is a waiting list any places that become available will be offered to young persons in the order they appear on the list.

The club junior section is presently full. Please do not just turn up at a training which puts our coaches in a difficult position and may leave you very disappointed.
Any other young person interested in running and joining Willowfield please first drop us an email to check on availability of places.

Congratulations to our three assistant coaches who have achieved their Athletics Coach award. Rebecca, Kenny and Jonathon have been working this past year with the club’s beginners and junior age groups. The guys will continue to be mentored by head coach Lawson Cochrane as they gain experience coaching athletics.
Willowfield would like to thank Belfast City Council. Grant assistance from their support for sport Small Development Grant scheme assisted the club in funding the course fees.
