Andrew Hagen crosses the finish line at the Antrim International meeting 2017

Congratulations Neill Following his win in the Polar Marahton last year Neill Weir has just completed the Atacama Crossing – a 7-day 250 Km crossing of the famous Chilean desert. Neill finished with an aggregate time of 29:51:39 behind winner Tommy Chen of Taiwan 28:58:20. Everyone at Willowfield are thoroughly pleased for Neill and proud of his success. Competitors battled a variety of terrains - sand-dunes, river crossings, gravel, loose rocks, hard packed earth, waist high grass and infamous salt flats. There was over 5,521 feet of ascents and 8,228 feet of descents. Starting at 10,500 feet in the Arcoiris Valley, the race decended over the six stages to finish in the pretty town of San Pedro de Atacama at an elevation of 2,400 meters (7,900 feet).

The club still has a number of the new kit items available over a limited range of sizes. Speak with coach Rebecca or Rod if you are interested.

However members can
order kit directly:-
